 | | Metro Parks, Serving Summit County GovTech began the project with an assessment of the Metro Parks, Serving Summit County Web site and online applications. Working closely with the MPSSC staff, a timeline, database architecture and the design was completed. GovTech rebuilt the existing system using integrated databases that allow users to register for swim passes, pursue volunteer opportunities and complete other forms online, giving residents additional ways to enjoy the Metro Parks and get involved. |
|  | | Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight Launched in September, 2007, the redesigned OFHEO website boasts several new enhancements. First, the federal agency offers many different types of research information and documents online; GovTech worked to create a navigation structure that logically organized content and made the site easy to navigate. The OFHEO Website also includes the new House Price Calculator, built using Java technologies that allow users to quickly and easily find their home appreciation. Finally, the House Price Index page displays new information and the heat map, a map of the United States, which displays each state’s four quarter appreciation. |
|  | | Office of U.S. Rep. Steve LaTourette The new website for Rep. Steve LaTourette (OH-14) launched in September, 2007. This website included a flash photo slideshow of local landmarks in the graphical header. A 24-Hour Online Office area on every page provides constituents with one-click access to the most requested pages on the website. |
|  | | Office of U.S. Rep. Heather Wilson The office of Representative Heather Wilson (NM-01) wanted to create a cutting edge, technologically advanced website for constituents. In July, 2007 the office unveiled the new website, full of unique ways to communicate with users. The site includes flash videos created by the office, an elaborate services center for constituents and a CMC which has the ability to send out pages of the website as emails to constituents. Fly-outs and Breadcrumbs make the site easy to navigate through the abundant resources available. |
|  | | Texas General Land Office While the Texas General Land Office created and maintains their own website, staff asked GovTech Solutions to complete an assessment of the website from an outside, expert view. The review included the graphical layout, page layout, Information Architecture, traffic analysis, style guides software and hardware currently utilized by the GLO. The assessment also went into detail as to how to communicate with the targeted audiences in Texas and provided mockups and content layouts for future development. |
|  | | Women's Democracy Network In January, 2007 GTS launched the Women’s Democracy Network for the International Republican Institute. This website marked a new high for GovTech, as it showcased the talented work of many people. The website, built to display content in five languages, contains an online forum so visitors can chat in real time and Success Stories of the political leadership of women around the world. There is an impressive members’ only section that allows users to create profiles, email other members and search for members around the globe. The website uses smaller graphics to account for different browsers and Internet connections being utilized around the world. |
|  | | Center for Liberty in the Middle East (CLIME) CLIME is an open source portal built to support individuals and groups in the Middle East promoting democratic values of liberty and tolerance. The website features articles, newsletters, publications and other information and serves as a resource for its community. GovTech Solutions worked closely with CLIME staff to organize activists, publications, and news items into defined groups; from there GovTech built a sophisticated method of creating relationships between the defined groups of information to give users the ability to locate items based on a preference such as topic, region, or author. |
|  | | Office of U.S. Rep. Lamar Smith The redesigned website for Rep. Lamar Smith featured an online tour request form, allowing users to request tour tickets for different attractions in and around Washington, DC through the website. This new website also offers a more user-friendly navigation system with easy one-click access to the most requested information. |
|  | | United States Department of Energy Energy.gov launched earlier this year, accomplishing two overarching goals: 1. to give the Department a fresh, unified and dynamic presence on the Web, and; 2. fulfilling the management objectives of improving security, streamlining business processes and achieving efficiencies throughout the enterprise. GovTech completed tasks including conceptualization, information architecture, graphic design and HTML implementation with the content management system, RedDot. The navigation map developed by GovTech would guide the placement of items on the homepage, global headers and footers, and DOE top navigation for all Energy.gov sites and eventually all DOE sites. To ensure quality and consistency of the design, the lead graphic designer had key training in the CMS system and assisted with implementation features such as the "templates." |
|  | | Summit County Veterans Service Commission The Summit County Veterans Service Commission's website was launched in January, 2007. GovTech Solutions worked with the staff at SCVSC to develop their online communication goals and determine the best approach to meeting their needs through their first website. With functionality that includes a text enlarger for those with slight vision impairments, breadcrumbs for easy navigation and a documents repository for quick access to forms, the website offers many services online. The site utilizes DotNetNuke® technology, giving the SCVSC and their users increased interactivity. Phase II of this project will enable veterans to log into the system and determine eligibility for benefits online.

|  | | Ohio Secretary of State The Ohio Secretary of State site was redesigned and reorganized by GovTech Solutions in 2005. The information offered on the site was diverse, so GovTech created a more logical site map and navigation structure. Incorporating the rebranding within the office, the "Change Our World" graphics were included in the design. GovTech built a customized content management tool, WebSAT, to specifically meet the needs of the Information Technology Department. |
